Moon Glow -A Poem About The Night

So magical, full and bright
Tis the moon out in the sky tonight
Her beams she sweeps with her hand
And spreads an eeriness across the land

The air is so crisp and clear
And it seems like the moon is so very near
For if you could just reach out your hand that you could touch her
Up in the sky she looks down and watches over

The Deer, Possums, Coons and Cats that rustle about
Owls hoot and fly for it is their time to be out
They can see everywhere just as if it were day
But it is a softness that the moon does lay

Upon the land that she does nurture
Where her mysteries are kept hidden in nature
This is where legends and stories grow
In this magical land where the moon does glow
